British airways have frequent flights from London to Amsterdam. British Airways operates direct cheap daily flights from all 3 London airports. Other UK regional airports connect via London (LGW and LHR). Amsterdam Airport Schipol is the main airport, 11 miles south-west of Amsterdam’s city centre. This will cost you around £95 to £267 for two way journey. The journey time will be 1hr 10min.

After your flights land in Amsterdam, hop on a train from the station directly under the airport terminal and you’ll arrive in Amsterdam city centre in less than 20 minutes. After flights to Amsterdam you can also take one of the buses that leave every ten minutes, or one of Amsterdam’s many taxis. The taxi ride into Amsterdam should take around 30 minutes on an average day, and the bus a little longer.

During rush hour leave more time to get back to the airport to catch your return flights from Amsterdam. All British Airways check-in desks at London Heathrow and Gatwick will close 45 minutes before the flight departs.
